FontShop has released Applied Sans by Akira Kobayashi and Sandra Winter for Monotype.
Applied Sans seeks to unify the earliest sans serifs and other hand-drawn draftsman alphabets that were made into foundry type, with later and more resolved sanses such as Berthold’s Akzidenz Grotesk. The family spans 24 styles in two widths, eight weights each. Its normal width is accompanied by a set of companion italics.
And you can get 50% off the entire package until 15th February 2017.
