NASA’s Cassini spacecraft ends its historic exploration of Saturn. Beginning in 2010, Cassini began a seven-year mission extension in which it completed many moon flybys while observing seasonal changes on Saturn and it’s largest moon Titan. Last week the spacecraft made a fateful plunge into the atmosphere of Saturn, ending its 13-year tour of the ringed planet.
